Job Summary:
The Solar PV Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of solar PV projects.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards, and manage project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers and manage project documentation and closeout activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in solar PV project management.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards, as well as construction management and project management software.
- Preferred experience in solar PV design and engineering and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Working Conditions:
The Project Manager may work in an office environment, as well as on-site at solar PV project locations, with occasional travel required. The role may require working outside of standard business hours to meet project deadlines.
